High-protein, high-fiber, gluten-free, and no added sugar. This vegan banana bread is made with whole-food ingredients and delivers excellent nutrition—about 13g of protein and 5g of fiber per slice.

  • Low fat compared to most “healthy” banana bread
  • Whole-food sweetened (banana + applesauce)

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • 4 scoops Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Powder (Vanilla)
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Monk fruit sweetener or date paste (if you want it sweeter)
  • Chocolate chips
  • Chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Mash the bananas, then add applesauce and vanilla. Stir in the ground flaxseed.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until well combined.
  3. Bake at 350°F for approximately 30–35 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.

Serving Tip

Enjoy warm and try topping with a dollop of honey. So good.
